The lace stitch used in this pattern was inspired by a picture of a scarf I saw at ABC Carpets, a beautiful big store in NYC. It has translated really well into a pattern for Soliloquy. It is a long rectangle with a knitted i-cord bordering all 4 sides (the i-cord is knitted at the same time as the main body of the shawl).
This kit contains the pattern and a 100 gr hank of Soliloquy MerinoSilk.
This yields a shawl that measures 150 x 38 cm (5 ft x 13 in).
Note: the sample shown in the picture is knitted using the colour called Biosphere.
