by: Tall Yarns
This pattern is specifically suitable for sport weight yarn (approx. 260 m per 100 gr). Despite the yarn being a sport weight, the socks are knitted using small needles to make them both warm and hard-wearing. The choice of stitches used is simple but very effective and makes for a sock that looks pretty yet is warm and comfortable to wear.
100 gr is enough to knit a pair of socks up to a UK size 8. For bigger sizes or longer socks, you will need 120 - 150 gr.
If you’ve knitted socks before: intermediate
If these are your first socks: advanced
The number of stitches used is suitable to knit socks of sizes 5 and up.
100 - 150 gr Sport weight sock yarn (e.g. Trinity Twist)
